Invalid Date of Birth/Incorrect Dep Code
This rejection warning means that the date of birth entered does not match the dependent on the medical aid. Either the date of birth or the dependent code is incorrect. Please verify the patient’s date of birth and the dependent code and ensure that they are entered correctly.
If the patient is a main member on their medical aid, you may be getting this error because the system assigned an incorrect dependent code to them. You can change this manually by going to the patient’s records and selecting “Yes” under Dependent, choosing “Other” as Relationship and then manually entering “00” as the Dependent Code.
